We've just used the 'GoNaked' free PCB prototype service from Spirit circuits for one of our designs.  Great service, very fast and no fuss. Just the sort of thing we like here at Vital Sines!

PADS version 9 newly installed. This latest release features an improved Router, so hopefully we can reduce layout times even more for you!

We now have the latest Latimer CAD tool for 3-D output of PCB assemblies!  This is a great tool and really useful for those of you who like to cram as many components as possible inside your given enclosure! The 3-D data can be read straight into a mechanical CAD tool and checked for any clashes with the casing before it's too late!  Vital Sines can also offer conversion of your 2-D mech drawings into 3-D CAD models so that you can take advantage of this great service.

We have just been using this extensively with a customer who had a couple of particularly tricky designs and it was excellent, potential clashes were avoided and peace of mind prevailed!

It's Nov '09 already (!) and we're still working very hard here at VSL.  Seeing increased flexi-rigid and very dense micro-via designs just to keep us on our toes!  Things are looking good as we head towards a new decade...

It's been a very busy year with many interesting projects and challenges but I have finally gotten around to getting pictures of the new office onto the web site.  The move to the Wimborne office has been very successful, it's a great working environment and all of our customers who have visited have been very impressed.  Here's to more of the same for the coming year!

Vital Sines has moved it's office to Wimborne in Dorset as of July '06!  Please see the Contact Information page for the new details..  Pictures of the brand new office building will appear here once it is fully completed, which should be in early '07.

To coincide with the move we can now also offer further resource with the addition of Sue Kingshott to our staff.  Sue has over 20 years experience of PCB Design and joins us from Marconi.

We've been on the move again!  Staying within the superb environment of the Tamar Science Park we have moved into a bigger office to help manage our ever increasing workload.  We have a new workstation dedicated to Mentor's PADS environment to add to the Zuken Visula and Cadstar workstations.  The PADS seat is also equipped with the Hyperlynx post-layout simulation software which over the coming year will begin to feature more heavily during our design process.

A new meeting area, additional phone lines and faster internet access make this a great move for us to be able to provide an even better service for our customers.  Photo on the 'About ...' page.

The success of Vital Sines' first year makes news in the local press!  (Shame that the "lighting" in the picture gives the impression that the past year has taken it's toll on Paul's hair line!)

Over Christmas 2003 Vital Sines moved into the prestigious Tamar Science Park in Plymouth.  This park offers a fantastic environment for forward thinking, technologically innovative companies which suits Vital Sines down to the ground.  If ever your travels bring you into this area then you must call in and pay us a visit!  State-of-the-art meeting facilities and a very creative environment make this a great place to come and discuss your PCB design requirements with our experts.

Vital Sines is pleased to welcome Joanna Paul to the company in the role of Business Development Co-ordinator.  Joanna brings in experience from electronics based biz-to-biz marketing aswell as a B.A.Hons in Business Studies and a recent BTEC Electronic Engineering qualification.  Aswell as her marketing activities Joanna will also be involved in co-ordinating the adaptation of ISO9001 within Vital Sines.  This appointment is a great move for the company as it will help to ensure that we are here to serve you even more efficiently and for long into the future.

Here is a Vital Sines PCB designer hard at work in the new office at the City Busines Park, Plymouth.  The office is providing a perfect environment for PCB design; quiet, secure and comfortable.  Vital Sines shares the office with a team of mechanical designers and product engineers, Absolute Product Design Ltd., which provides a highly informed and very constructive working atmosophere.  From this one location ANY of your electronic product design questions can be answered.

Here's Vital Sines Principal PCB Designer Paul Ramsay collecting his prize of a Psion Revo at the Zuken User Group Conference 2000.  The challenge was to fully prepare and auto-route a complex PCB placement in as short a time as possible with the least amount of vias and shortest overall tracking length, and of course, with no errors.  I forget what the winning time was, about 15 minutes I think, ...and that was back in the Pentium II days!                                                    Hands up who's still manually routing everything?!
